Credit Card debt in Australia has soared past $28 billion with the average credit card in arrears to the tune of $3000.
This hasn't stopped a marked increase in the amount of credit card holders in Australia with over 13 million people using credit cards in their daily lives.
The amount of credit card accounts has almost doubled in the last ten year. Figures show that in 1997 there were 7.5 million credit card accounts while today that figure is almost 13.5 million.
