Since its establishment in 1959, Community First Credit Union Australia has become the largest community based Credit Union operating throughout the Sydney and Central Coast region. Customers can choose from a selection of financial services that includes, financial planning services, home loans, personal loans, low rate Visa debit and credit cards and insurance. Almost all of these financial services have received great ratings by Money Magazine, Your Mortgage Magazine and other industry-specific magazines.
There are four credit cards provided by the Community First Credit Union and each of them is embedded with EMV chips, providing customers with additional security and preventing the card from being counterfeited.
The McGrath Pink Visa Card and the Low Rate Visa Credit Card have the same features and benefits. Both have competitive low rates and have been awarded a 5 star rating by independent research company Cannex. Both cards also maintain a low rate on cash advances, retail purchases and balance transfers. The main difference between the two cards is that the McGrath Pink Visa Card donates half its annual fees to the McGrath foundation for each year the card is active, with the donations going towards women with breast cancer and their families.
The Visa Debit Card and Redicard Plus function exactly like a Visa credit card but use the cardholders funds. The Redicard Plus allows safe and convenient withdrawal of funds through ATMs and eftpos outlets.
