Intech Credit Cards

Intech Credit Union first began in 1971 as the IBM Employees Credit Union to provide savings accounts and personal loans to IBM staff in Australia. The company changed its name in 1994 to Intech Credit Union before merging with Telstra Credit Union in 2005. Intech Credit Union currently boasts approximately 9,500 members drawn from all states of Australia and overseas with assets in excess of $160 million. Their promise to members is to strive to understand members' needs and provide them with the products and services to help them achieve their financial goals. At Intech Credit Union, the staff endeavour to treat members with respect and communicate intelligently and honestly. As a company, they believe they proactively promote only those products and services that will genuinely best meet members' needs and be of benefit to them.

There are two credit cards offered by Intech Credit Union, the first is the Titanium 55 Visa Card. This credit card allows members to enjoy a competitive interest rate, a high number of interest-free days and a low annual fee. It is an all purpose card that makes funds available through ATMs and EFTPOS facilities worldwide. By using the Titanium 55 Visa Card, members are also able to contribute to their Member Bonus Allowance and reduce transaction fees.

The second credit card offered by Intech Credit Union is the Titanium Debit Card, which gives members the convenience of a credit card without the assumed extra debt. This card is linked directly to members' savings accounts and funds are accessible from ATMs and EFTPOS facilities worldwide. Members have the opportunity to add a personal overdraft for access to extra funds when needed. This card is ideal for those without a regular income.

Intech Credit Union strongly believes that the reason they exist at all is due to its members and that the members are the most important part of the credit union. As they are all equal owners, Intech Credit Union's role is to service the financial needs of the members.
