Do credit cards with no annual fees appeal to you?

15 July 2008

Some people seldom use their credit cards, preferring to pay cash or use debit cards. If you know that you'll rarely be using your credit cards except in emergencies, no annual fee credit cards might suit your needs.

Credit cards with no annual fees might not come with other features like interest free days, but these types of credit cards may have high annual fees. If you only plan to use your credit cards rarely, not having to pay annual fees might suit you. For example, you may only need to use your credit cards in emergencies, but you also know you'll be able to pay it off quickly come next pay day.

If you plan on using your credit cards on a regular basis, you might be better off with credit cards that offer interest free days.
