Qantas Frequent Flyer Accounts almost out of time to transfer credit cards points
27 March 2009
Qantas Frequent Flyer customers have only four days left to consolidate their points to take full advantage from points earned from flight purchases and everyday spending.
After the 31st March 2009 Qantas Frequent Flyer customers may not be able to transfer points from other credit cards or charge card reward programs into their Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
The greatest appeal of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program is that credit card users can gain greater benefit from their credit cards purchases by earning points for daily spending towards airfares rewards and other such perks.
Benefits of the Qantas Frequent Flyer card points system means that customers can earn points towards:
- Classic Award seats on Qantas or Jetstar flights
- Classic Award seats on flights with Qantas 24 different partner airlines
- Any Seat Award seats on Qantas or Jetstar flights
- More than 1,000 Award items in the Qantas Frequent Flyer Store.
Qantas Frequent Flyer account points also come from over 350 retail partners including credit cards, car rental, hotel, car sales or service, retail and entertainment, travel and travel services, business, finance and real estate partners with Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets planning to join from mid-2009. The extra benefit of Qantas Frequent Flyer points is that there will be no expiry date attached on the condition that points are either earned or used at least once every three years.
Furthermore, Qantas Frequent Flyer account points card has the additional benefit of the Minimum Point Guarantee which rewards over 1,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points for all eligible Qantas flights taken. With more points awarded to a Qantas Frequent Flyer account points card will result in status bonuses for all Silver, Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers.
If you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer customer, then now is the time to transfer your credit cards reward points into your account.
